I do use this cream every morning in the and night evening. After first I noticed that my skin didn't have much sebum, and this is because I still have to apply a toner on it at night. Usually after my skincare routine, I apply cleanser and then I'll add my retinol or whatever ingredient is in my routine. The cream actually works better with retinol than the glycerin, because it prevents things from going on your skin. If you apply it the night before and then your skincare routine the morning, skin doesn't benefit as much from the retinol.
This is another product that works well with my retinol because I haven't been using an AHA/BHA product that doesn't have an AHA or BHA in it. I used to have use an AHA/BHA in order to be able use this. That's why I've been using this cream instead of an Acne/Pimple Control Serum.

This is a very heavy emulsion with lot of oils. It doesn't have much of a cooling effect on my face - I think like it better than the Hada Labo Tosowoong. It doesn't feel oily on my face despite the heavy scent, and it does not cause my skin to feel greasy. It does make your skin feel softer and less oily though.
I also notice that my skin doesn't have any breakouts even though I haven't been using much retinoid. I don't use a ton of retinoid unless I'm using it on my face during daytime routine. I think that like this better than the Hada Labo Tosowoong, but I'm not sure if it's because it has fermented ingredients like this, or because it has a lot of sunflower and jojoba oil in it. I've only used this twice, so I can't comment on.
